Meet Willow – A Bright, Loyal Companion

Willow is an 8-month-old Border Collie puppy who’s been learning all about the world in her foster home over the past 3 months. She’s affectionate, clever, and eager to please. Willow is always ready for cuddles and quick to learn new things.

 At Home:

Willow is house-trained, sleeps well overnight, and knows basic commands like sit, down, paw, and wait. She lives happily with a dog-savvy child and another dog, though she may occasionally show mild herding instincts, typical of her breed.

 Training & Temperament:

Willow is intelligent and obedient in the home, with a developing recall and growing confidence. She’s still working on lead training and can be reactive to dogs or strangers while on walks—often due to frustration or overexcitement. With familiar people and dogs, she is friendly and playful.

Travel & Independence:

She’s grown more confident in the car and travels well, especially on smoother journeys. Willow can be left for 3–4 hours with enrichment items and settles nicely when exercised beforehand.

Her Ideal Home:

Willow would do best in a calm, rural environment with experienced owners committed to ongoing training. A home without young children or small animals is recommended, though she could suit older, dog-savvy kids.
