Zina
Zina is a 10-year-old Shepherd mix who is looking for a calm, comfortable forever home.
Due to unexpected changes, her current owner now lives on a boat, which unfortunately isn’t the right environment for her.
Zina would thrive in a home with a garden where she can enjoy her space and relax.
About Zina:
• Age: 10 years
• Breed: Shepherd mix
• Loves: Spending time in the garden, napping, and being around adults and children
• Diet: Simple (tuna and salmon kibble, as she cannot tolerate rich food)
• Needs: A dog-free home (she doesn’t get along with other dogs or small animals)
• Special Notes: Zina is dog-reactive, so she requires a muzzle in public. She manages well with this and enjoys her walks.
Zina is gentle, affectionate, and enjoys a peaceful life. She would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her a safe, stable home and a bit of outdoor space to call her own.
She really deserves a place to call home. Please share for the lovely girl

Beautiful zina, this is a note from her foster mum.
Zina is such a beautiful girl with a lovely character.
She's extremely laid back & very adaptable, taking everything in her stride.
Zina walks well on the lead, trotting along happily, however she can be reactive to other dogs, although responds well to correction & praise when calm.
She doesn't require a lot of exercise as she's generally quite lazy & likes her sleep.
Although she does enjoy going out & is happy to be fussed when out on walks by adults & children.
Will often just go up to people on their drive & stand there until they say hello.
Zina has her playful moments too & likes her toys; however, she is not an excitable dog & rarely barks other than when the neighbour's cat winds her up from the other side of the fence.
Zina has been very responsive to training & enjoys giving her paw when she wants something, she follows commands extremely well e.g. sit, stay, wait, here etc.
She does enjoy spending time in the garden & often just lies on the grass & can be reluctant to come in, which is when she can have selective hearing, although will plod in when she's ready.
Zina is an independent girl & really doesn't demand anything, unless I have chicken & then I will get a clumsy paw & pleading look which of course I can't resist.
She travels well in the car, happily looking out the window & is fully house trained.
Will let me know if she needs the garden, though she likes her lie ins so rarely gets up before 8-9am.
All in all, this big softie is going to make a very lucky person a wonderful companion.
There's not a day goes by when she doesn't make me smile
