We are always in need of experienced fosters.

We are especially looking for people with homes where no other pets already live, and at this stage we do require households with no children live. 

 

People who have had previous close-contact experience with animals in general are very welcome.

 

Also anyone who has experience with helping animals who have become traumatised or damaged, or are suffering the effects of being subject to a difficult, negative or violent environment or lifestyle are very welcome. 

 

We are always desperate for help or input from people with experience in basic training and/or behaviour issues.

We have many other roles and areas which we always need help with, everything from front-line rescue volunteers and background/home-checkers , to fundraisers and social media/online activists who can help Broken Halo Rescue become more widely known by sharing our posts and appeals - both inside and outside of Facebook. Sharing our posts which showcase each animal we have needing help, money or attention of some kind is one of our most powerful tools and methods of finding potential forever-homes and temporary fosters for the animals in our care.

People who are able to help raise our profile in their local areas by getting in touch with their local media, newspapers, radio stations etc to get the message out there about what we do, that we are a completely volunteer run organisation and are always having financial difficulties which we really need ongoing help with - and most important - bringing news and information to the public about the animals already in our care who we desperately need constant support in order to give them the help they desperately need, this can be expensive medical help from Vets, providing them access to people who can help them with any behavioural issues which maybe standing in the way of them being suitable for rehoming, dietary support, socialisation and trust building - most of our rescues need help believing in humans ever again after the often extreme situations we have rescued them from.

Not only on behalf of Broken Halo Rescue, but on behalf of all animals and animal rescue organisations everywhere - we can never have enough people spreading information about the plight of abused animals in general and where people can get help for them, and how people can help bring an end to the sufferng and abuse many animals experience in the UK today.
