BLUEBERRY

LOCATION: Fakenham, Norfolk

Blueberry is a 4-year-old Moroccan Beldi (medium-large, ~39kg) with a really loving nature.

He’s the kind of dog who bonds closely with his person – he loves his food, his cuddles, and just being near you.

He’s a well-mannered boy in the home – fully house trained, walks beautifully on lead, and is very clever.

He enjoys learning and would do well with someone happy to continue his training and give him a bit of guidance and structure.

Unfortunately Blueberry is finding a busy, multi-pet household overwhelming.

He would be much happier in a calmer environment where he doesn’t feel the need to compete or react.

Work in progress:

• Can be reactive to other dogs at close range

• High prey drive – will chase cats

• Has struggled living alongside smaller animals

• Best as the only pet (or possibly with a well-matched, larger, steady dog)

Positives:

• Very affectionate and people-focused

• Loves quiet time, company, and cuddles

• Walks nicely on lead

• House trained

• Intelligent and trainable

Ideal home:

• A quieter, adult-only home (or with older, calm teenagers) where he can settle and feel secure.

• He’d suit someone who understands dogs and

• Someone who is willing to continue working with him – he has a lot of potential with the right setup.

• Blueberry doesn’t want a hectic lifestyle.

He’s quite happy with a daily walk and then relaxing at home with his person.

He’s a good dog who just needs the right environment to bring out his best.
