Not every good dog gets a good start, but Ozzie hasn’t let that define him.

At five years old, this handsome wire-haired pointer lad found himself in an Irish pound through no fault of his own.

No big story, no explanation… just another dog waiting.

Wire-haired Pointers are known for their loyalty, and love of the outdoors.

They’re the kind of dogs who want to be by your side, and work.

They love to use their noses and enjoy things like man trailing and scent work.

Since leaving the pound, Ozzie has been making up for lost time stretching his legs on Irish beaches, nose to the wind, taking it all in.

He’s taken everything in his stride, like he’s always known how to enjoy the simple things.

He’s good with other dogs outside the home, but would do best being honed either as an only dog or with a female companion.

Ozzie loves people, he’s a really lovely lad who wants to be part of things.

Ozzie is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to travel to the UK.

All he’s missing now is somewhere to call his own.

A home where he can head out on adventures, then come back and settle beside you at the end of the day.
